Taylor Swift Wanted By Delaware Cops, Might Meet Superfan With Cancer

A police department in Delaware is looking for Taylor Swift.

That’s because they want to introduce Swift to one of her superfans, a 13-year-old with Down syndrome and bone cancer.

Victoria Marsh, a huge Taylor Swift fan, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in December and had her left leg amputated in February, according to Fox News.

That’s when officers from the Dover Police Department gave her their tickets to Swift’s Philadelphia concert in June.

The Dover police got their tickets from Swift’s team, who donated them after seeing the viral video of Officer Jeff Davis lip synching to “Shake it Off” in his patrol car. It got 34 million YouTube views.

Taylor saw it and retweeted the video and her team sent the Dover Police Department tickets to see Swift’s concert.

Unfortunately, Marsh is unable to attend Swift’s June concert because she is undergoing chemotherapy and the risk of infection is too great, so she gave the tickets to her sisters.

Now, the Dover officers are trying to help Marsh meet Taylor when she comes to Philadelphia in June.

They helped create a video, along with Marsh’s mom, that tells her story and they’re hoping it’ll go viral and grab Swift’s attention so she’ll stop by and meet her 13-year-old super fan, according to US Weekly. It’s called “Victoria’s Wish.”

“Taylor’s music plays all night in my room on repeat. And when I can, I still dance to her music. The police helped me make this video in hopes that Taylor will see it and come visit or FaceTime with me when she’s in Philadelphia. Will you help me make this wish come true?”

The family is using the hashtags #SwiftAWish and #TeamVictoria to spread the video, which tells the story of the girl’s battle with cancer, her amputation, and frequent hospitalizations.

The Dover police are urging people to share the video and tag it with the hashtags so it will go viral and gain Swift’s attention.

It was uploaded to Youtube Wednesday and already has some 200,000 views, according to the Huffington Post.

Taylor has been in the news lately as a feminist fighting the double standard women are forced to endure in the music industry, according to the Inquisitr.

She also recently topped Maxim’s “Hot 100 List” for the first time despite not caring what people think.
