Taylor McKinney Buys An Engagement Ring On Next Week’s ‘Teen Mom OG?’

Are Taylor McKinney and Maci Bookout engaged? It sure looks that way! In a sneak peek at next week’s episode of Teen Mom OG, via a report by Wetpaint Entertainment on May 20, Taylor McKinney is seen shopping for engagement rings.

“I’m looking for an engagement ring,” Taylor McKinney declares upon arriving to the jewelry store. Then, as the sneak peek continues, he’s seen telling Bookout, “Speaking of surprises…”

Although fans will have to wait until next Monday to see if Taylor McKinney proposes, there is certainly plenty of reason to think he does. After all, Bookout has been seen sporting an engagement ring on her finger for the last several weeks, and most recently made no attempt at hiding the sparkler during her baby shower. In addition, both Bookout and Taylor McKinney have been speaking of marriage for months.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bookout revealed her thoughts on marriage during an MTV special last month. According to a Wetpaint Entertainment recap of said special, Bookout confirmed her plans to marry Taylor McKinney.

“We definitely want to marry each other. I definitely want to marry Taylor. But at the same time, to me marriage is about wanting to get married because you want to marry that person, not because you’re pregnant and you wanna rush into it.”

Bookout began dating Taylor McKinney over two years ago, a short time after splitting from boyfriend Kyle King, whom fans saw during Teen Mom seasons 3 and 4. Although the couple’s relationship was long distance for the first year-and-a-half, Bookout and Taylor McKinney made the decision to move in together last summer, and before they knew it, Bookout was pregnant.

“Before I got pregnant, we talked heavily about marriage— and we still do, but I don’t want to be a pregnant bride. That would be way too stressful!” she revealed to In Touch Weekly, via Hollywood Life. “Plus, I want to be able to have fun at my wedding.”

Taylor McKinney’s girlfriend went on to say that she hoped her fans would be understanding of her situation with McKinney, and not too judgmental.

“I just hope people don’t judge. We are a little bit scared people might not be as supportive as we want them to be [because we’re not married], but I hope they are.”
