Riker Lynch and Allison Holker’s two perfect scores are really going to their heads — the Dancing with the Stars partners are considering taking their act to Broadway.
According to Wetpaint, DWTS judge Bruno Tonioli told Riker Lynch and Allison Holker that their freestyle routine was “Fred Astaire reinvented for a new generation.” Obviously, Riker was more than thrilled about being compared to the legendary star of beloved classic movies like Top Hat and Swing Time.
“I am honored,” Riker told Access Hollywood after last night’s show. “That’s unbelievable. That’s one of the best compliments I’ve ever gotten in my entire life.”
Riker wouldn’t be the dancer he is today without the help of his talented pro partner, Allison Holker. The partners are getting along so great on Dancing with the Stars that they’re actually planning a Broadway show. Right now, they’re just talking about what they want to do, so nothing is set in stone yet.
“We actually have a few ideas,” Allison told Access Hollywood. “We have a vision and we have an idea.”
Riker and Allison refused to share their idea with Access, but Allison did say that it involves a lot of “sound.” Riker is a member of the band R5, so perhaps he would get to sing in their show. He also has experience acting on the TV series Glee, so the triple threat definitely has what it takes to appear on the Broadway stage. Below, you can see Riker showing off his acting skills during last night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars — he transformed into Pirates of the Caribbean character Jack Sparrow for a second time.
Since Riker Lynch loves playing the Johnny Depp character so much, perhaps he and Allison Holker are thinking about creating their own rock star pirate play for the Broadway stage.
Holker and Lynch both have relatives that could help them with their show. Lynch is cousins with Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough and judge Julianne Hough, and he could definitely learn a lot from his famous family members — Derek has already appeared on Broadway, and Julianne acted in the movie adaptation of the Broadway play Rock of Ages.
Allison Holker is married to So You Think You Can Dance star Stephen “tWitch” Boss, a dancer/choreographer who has appeared in Step Up 3D, and Magic Mike XXL. Boss just happens to be good pals with Ellen DeGeneres, so perhaps he could convince the talk show host to produce Allison and Riker’s musical.

Hopefully, Riker and Allison don’t give up on their Broadway dream if they don’t win the golden mirrorball trophy tonight. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the DWTS producers are pretty positive that Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy are going to be this season’s champs. However, this is just pure speculation on their part.
Do you think that Riker Lynch and Allison Holker should win Season 20 of Dancing with the Stars, and would you love to see them in a Broadway musical?
