‘Teen Mom’ Wedding Back On? Jenelle Evans & Nathan Griffith Are ‘Working Things Out’

A Teen Mom wedding may still be in Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith’s future. Although it was previously believed that the pair had been split up since early March, the reality star recently hit the red carpet, revealing she and her ex-fiance are “working” out their relationship.

During a May 13 interview with TooFab at the OK! Magazine So Sexy party, Evans revealed her plans to reconcile.

“I’ve been doing my own thing for two months now. We’re on the rocks but we’re working things out.”

Jenelle Evans began dating Griffith in June of 2013, just weeks after her breakup from husband Courtland Rogers, who she married in December of 2012 (a Teen Mom wedding didn’t happen at the time because they hadn’t yet begun filming Season 5). Days after meeting, Jenelle Evans and Griffith moved in together, and from there, they quickly began planning for a family. Three months later, Jenelle Evans became pregnant, and in June of 2014, their son Kaiser arrived.

Jenelle Evans and Griffith appeared to be quite happy, despite a few online arguments, and in January of this year, they became engaged. Unfortunately, their Teen Mom wedding excitement was short-lived, and by early March, they had parted ways.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Evans and Griffith were hoping MTV would help them pay for their Teen Mom wedding, and were open to sharing the event with fans. In January, a source revealed the following to Radar Online in regard to the possible Teen Mom wedding.

“Jenelle and MTV have a super close relationship and having her [Teen Mom wedding] could be a big ratings hit for the network. Her chaotic life has always been on TV so there is no reason now that she’s getting married again for it not to be on MTV. But she’s getting smarter and she knows how to negotiate better so she wants MTV to pay for the [Teen Mom wedding].

“Jenelle is really happy with Nathan and MTV knows that her [Teen Mom wedding] will be all about the drama and they want to make sure they capture that. MTV drives a hard bargain with Jenelle but they do pay her so they’ll have to make the offer sweet enough for her to put this all on TV.”

For more on the potential Teen Mom wedding, be sure to tune into Teen Mom 2 Season 6, when the series debuts on MTV on July 9 at 10 p.m.
