Craig Conover Slams Shep Rose For Judging His Party Life On ‘Southern Charm’
Southern Charm star Craig Conover may have faded into the background a bit last season, as he was working hard on wrapping up law school. Conover did call out Kathryn Calhoun for sleeping with three guys who were filming the show, but that was the only memorable thing Craig did last year. So, maybe he is trying to catch up this season.
While Craig Conover was a motivated law student last season, he is now focusing on partying and being social. Maybe being on Southern Charm has given him some sort of stardom that he didn’t have before. And Craig’s decision to party all night and sleep in instead of going to work has his co-stars concerned.
According to a new Bravo report, Craig Conover is now revealing that he wasn’t too pleased about Shep Rose giving him a wakeup call. It is no secret that Craig’s co-stars have been concerned about his income and his work, as he seems to prioritize his social life much more than his work commitments. And now, Conover admits that he was angry with Shep for confronting him about it.
“Yes, truthfully I really was. I think Shep makes himself feel better about his life decisions when he does so. Maybe he wants to see me become successful as hell. Well I know for a fact that’s the case,” Craig Conover explains after the confrontation that left him in shock, adding, “I just think it was hard to admit to myself that if SHEP was giving me life lessons, maybe I really was messing up, and it was time to make a change. It’s a hard thing to come to terms with. Once you dig yourself into a hole, it’s way easier to keep digging than to face your problems straight on and start climbing your way out.”
Of course, Shep himself has been working on changing his life around. Since Season 1, Shep has bought a home, opened a restaurant, and has worked on really creating a lifestyle he wants. As for Craig Conover, he doesn’t think Rose is putting his best foot forward himself.
Southern Charm was filmed last year and Craig revealed that he didn’t have to take the bar until February of this year. Several reports have revealed that Conover may have passed the bar exam and continues to work as a lawyer in Charleston. Craig has not confirmed anything, but he may have other things to think about. According to the Inquisitr, Craig has been getting closer to Kathryn, especially since she is drifting away from Thomas Ravenel.
