Maci Bookout Engaged? Boyfriend Reveals He Will Give Her A Ring Before Pregnancy Is Over
Maci Bookout is back on Teen Mom OG after threatening to leave the show, but is she also engaged? The very pregnant reality show star has not been quiet about wanting a ring now that she and boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, are expecting a little one, but there is no confirmation that the two are indeed engaged. There are, however, plenty of clues to indicate that Taylor may have popped the question.
First, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, Maci Bookout was recently spotted wearing a ring on her left ring finger. The photo was taken at Maci’s baby shower and shows the Teen Mom OG star glowing. The picture was posted to Maci’s Instagram account and has since been posted all over the web leaving many fans to wonder if the redhead is indeed engaged. Another clue appeared on last night’s episode of Teen Mom OG. The cameras showed Maci and Taylor talking about marriage and it was very clear that Maci wanted a ring!
“He knows that I would have rather been engaged or married before we were pregnant. I would prefer to be planning a wedding right now. I feel like there is no point in waiting.”
This contradicts what Maci Bookout said in an interview at the end of last year. When announcing her pregnancy, Maci said that she didn’t want to get married while pregnant.
“Before I got pregnant, we talked heavily about marriage — and we still do, but I don’t want to be a pregnant bride. That would be way too stressful. Obviously, I wish we would have been married first, but everything will come together afterwards.”
Unlike Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom 2, Maci Bookout doesn’t want to walk down the aisle while sporting a baby bump. Of course, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to get engaged while pregnant. In fact, if Taylor McKinney’s conversation with his friends on last night’s episode is any indication, then Maci Bookout may in fact be engaged!
While talking to his friends, Taylor revealed plans to give Maci a ring before their daughter, Jayde Carter, is born in June. Since the MTV cameras filmed for the fifth season for quite some time and didn’t wait months before airing the footage, there is a chance that Taylor McKinney did propose to Maci and that it will be captured on camera.
Also on the episode, Maci revealed to Taylor that she already feels married saying, “I mean, I already feel like I’m married to you.”
Unfortunately, Taylor’s reply wasn’t the best! He replied, “You b*tch like a married woman.”
Will these two tie the knot after their baby is born? Fans will have to tune into Teen Mom OG and watch to see what happens between Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney.
