Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Are Both Attending The Met Gala, Meet Or Miss?

Will Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez make nice or make haste at the 2015 Met Gala? The former couple are currently both in New York City.

Both Bieber and Selena are on their way to the star-studded event, which takes place at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night.

This year’s Met Gala is co-chaired by Jennifer Lawrence and themed “China: Through the Looking Glass.” Confirmed guests on the list include Beyoncé, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Diane Kruger, Lady Gaga, Dakota Johnson, Rachel Weisz, Lily Collins, and many, many more.

In addition to the multiple witnesses who tweeted that they spotted Justin at the 1Oak club on Sunday, the heartthrob posted a message at his Fahlo account on Monday confirming his location. “NYC,” he wrote.

Incidentally, Miley Cyrus was also seen at 1Oak with the Canadian singer, who is fresh off walking pal Floyd Mayweather into the ring before his boxing victory over Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday.

During fight weekend, Justin hosted a pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. He performed his Jack Ü hit, “Where Are Ü Now” and was spotted getting cozy with Australian model Shanina Shaik.

Meanwhile, Selena was seen out and about in the Big Apple this weekend. The Disney alum supported her Spring Breakers co-star Vanessa Hudgens by seeing her in action as Gigi on Broadway on Saturday.

The two starlets were later snapped stepping out for late-night supper in New York’s East Village after the show.

The next day, “The Heart Wants What It Wants” singer was spotted leaving the Locanda Verde Restaurant holding a bag of spicy Cheetos and heading to church at Hillsong NYC.

Following their breakup in Paris last September, Justin and Selena have only been seen together once. Back in January, they met up at Mastros steakhouse in Beverly Hills.

Since then, the two seem to have given each a wide berth. The Latina has been working on her new album, and the movies In Dubious Battle and The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving.

Fast forward to today, with the red carpet happening now, fans of both stars, and Jelena devotees, are wondering whether the former sweethearts plan to meet up at the Met Gala.

Expect “Awkward” to dominate headlines on Justin and Selena’s attendance. Wouldn’t it be great if they laughed at all that and had a boogie at the ball instead?

Sadly, Wintour’s blackout of social media inside the Gala means celebrities’ selfies won’t be happening this year. It looks like paparazzi-obtained pics will be our only window on the social fashion date of the year.

If they manage to capture Jelena one last time, we won’t mind a bit.
