Kris Jenner Reportedly Thought She ‘Failed Miserably’ As A Wife

Reality star Kris Jenner was reportedly very emotional during Bruce Jenner’s televised interview with Diane Sawyer Friday.

According to Hollywood Life, an inside source claims that Kris took it hard on herself, feeling as if she failed her former husband when they were married.

“That interview made her think twice about herself and she thinks she’s failed miserably as his wife.”

The insider further identified one specific part from Bruce’s two-hour interview which caused a major reaction in Kris Jenner.

“Hearing Bruce say that they would still be together if she were able to handle his transition better than she did sent chills throughout her entire body. She feels she failed him.”

The 59-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star reportedly watched the broadcast with her former husband of over 22 years alongside her.

Hollywood Life reports that Bruce apparently did not allow Kris to beat herself up without providing her some reassurance of his own to help put things back into perspective.

“Bruce assured her that she didn’t fail him and told her she was ‘the perfect wife’ and that ‘everything happens for a reason. He begged Kris to not feel guilty and reminded her that some of the best years he spent as a man were with her.”

Bruce and Kris Jenner became husband and wife in April of 1991, one month after Kris divorced her first husband, Robert Kardashian.

For more than two decades, Bruce and Kris worked on building a family, including adding two daughters to the eight other children that they had from previous relationships.

In the later years of their marriage, they also helped to build somewhat of a brand, bringing their family into the world of reality television.

However, their marriage came to an end in October of 2013 when Bruce and Kris Jenner announced that they were separated. In September of the following year, Kris Jenner made headlines when she filed for divorce, a decision that was later finalized on March 23, 2015.
