Patrick Schwarzenegger Returns to Slopes After Skiing Accident

Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, was back at the slopes today after suffering a few cuts and bruises during a skiing accident over the weekend.

Schwarzenegger, 18, took a spill when skiing in Sun Valley, Idaho on Saturday. Medics treated him on the scene and he was taken to a nearby hospital, but his injuries weren’t quite as severe as the photos he tweeted, which showed him on a stretcher with a neck brace and a breathing mask, would have you believe.

Schwarzenegger’s injuries were minor, only suffering bruises and a relatively minor cut that required stitches, and the 18-year-old was already back at it on the slopes on Monday. “Appreciate all the messages,” Schwarzenegger wrote on Twitter. “I’m actually feeling really good today, and I even went skiing again today.”

When Schwarzenegger posted the pictures on Twitter, it caused up a bit of a stir among his fans, especially those who remember the accident that Schwarzenegger’s younger brother had when boogie-boarding, leaving him seriously injured.

In light of last year’s feud between his father, Arnold, and his mother, Maria, Schwarzenegger changed his last name on Twitter to Shriver, likely in response to word that his father had an affair while married to Maria, and even had a love child with his mistress.

Do you think that Patrick Schwarzenegger was just trying to grab attention when he made a fuss on Twitter about his “accident”?
