Russell Wilson Rumored To Be Dating Singer Ciara, Taking Her To White House Dinner
Russell Wilson is reportedly dating pop star Ciara, and may have one heck of a date planned.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback will be taking Ciara to the White House Correspondents Dinner, a leaked guest list for the event showed. A partial guest list for the event was obtained by AOL, showing a listing for Russell Wilson “and his date Ciara.”
The guest list appears to confirm what has been a hot rumor for the last several days. Wilson was recently spotted at a Seattle Mariners game wearing dark sunglasses and with a woman who appeared to be Ciara.
Ciara fueled the rumors even more the same day when she shared a photo on Instagram wearing the same outfit as the woman seen with Wilson at the game.
If the report is true, then Russell Wilson appears to be doing his best to throw fans off the trail of the relationship. On Thursday he posted on Facebook a video of him dancing with his grandmother. Under the video was the caption, “Can’t wait to dance with my beautiful date at the WHCD this weekend! #shesgotmoves #loveugrandma.”
Both Russell Wilson and Ciara are single after some high-profile and messy break-ups. Wilson and wife Ashton Meem divorced in April, 2014, amid reports that Meem had an affair with Wilson’s teammate, Golden Tate.
Ciara is single after breaking up with ex-fiancee, rapper Future, after reports that he got his mistress pregnant. The incident came just three months after Ciara gave birth to a son, Future Zahir.
After the split, Ciara said she was moving on and focusing on her son.
“It’s about keeping your eyes on the prize. Before I had a child, I had goals. And I still have to accomplish those goals, but now that I have a child, I have more goals to accomplish. So I can’t waste time. I have to go for it.” She added, “It’s actually pushing me harder, and forward.”
Russell Wilson has been connected to a number of women since his divorce, including rumors that he stole the girlfriend of Detroit Lions player Joseph Fauria. The tight end blasted a tweet accusing Wilson of stealing his girlfriend, but later took it back, saying he didn’t have all his facts straight.
If Russell Wilson and Ciara are really dating, the relationship won’t be under wraps much longer. The White House Correspondents Dinner is scheduled for Saturday night.
