‘RHOA’ Star Phaedra Parks: ‘Some Things In My Life Are Off-Limits’
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks may have considered taking some time away from the spotlight last year, as she learned that her husband had been lying to her about his criminal behavior. Apollo Nida was accused of fraud and sentenced to eight years behind bars. Parks was left to pick up the pieces, and many fans of the show expected her to take a hiatus from the show to focus on her children.
And yet, Phaedra Parks filmed the show and documented her trials and tribulations for The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Fans have expressed support for Phaedra as she tried to deal with her husband’s betrayal. It has been an emotional roller coaster. And despite sharing this journey with Bravo viewers, Parks admits that she won’t share everything with the world.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks has been criticized lately for keeping her two sons, Dylan and Ayden, away from their father. Apollo is serving time in Kentucky, but Parks isn’t keen on taking her two sons to see him behind bars. Clearly, she wants to protect them.
“Despite the fact that I’m on a reality show, there are some things in my life that are off-limits. People who watch the show only get one slice of the entire Phaedra pie, and it’s unfair to make judgments about someone, or a situation, without having all the information,” Phaedra Parks reveals about her life.
Several co-stars have said that they would take the children to the jail if they were in her shoes. Porsha Williams has been very supportive of Parks’ decisions, even if she doesn’t agree with them. But Phaedra doesn’t seem to care too much about what other people think about her decision. According to the Inquisitr, Parks has said that she has moved on with her life. Phaedra has even filed for divorce. Her only priority now is her children.
“The one thing I will say is that every single decision I make is based on one thing: the well-being of my two boys. It’s easy for people to ask why she did that or why she isn’t doing this, but the simple truth is unless you are in that situation yourself, you really can’t make that judgment. I do my best to make smart decisions after carefully considering all options and consulting with experts and others who advise me. I know in my heart that everything I do is based on what is best for my children,” Phaedra Parks has said as a response as to why she hasn’t taken her sons to see their father behind bars.
