Nick Loeb: Sofia Vergara Facing Lawsuit Because Nick Loeb Wants Her Frozen Embryos?

Nick Loeb and Sofia Vergara are no longer a couple, but there are some serious issues that the two really need to work out. According to People Magazine, Loeb has filed a lawsuit against Vergara because the two have frozen embryos together, and Loeb claims that his ex wants to destroy them. The 39-year-old released quite a lengthy statement about wanting to see those embryos grow, and he wants to become a father regardless of his relationship status.

“I have always strongly believed that life begins at fertilization and that every embryo is a life on a journey towards birth. I created these two female embryos with the purpose of taking them to term and not destruction, because I have always dreamed of being a father. I take the responsibility and obligation of being a parent very seriously. Creating an embryo in the natural way can lead to parenthood obligations, even where a man doesn’t want to become a father. Where a man does want to become a father, and wants to impose no obligations on the other party, he should have that corresponding right. However life comes to be created, it should have no determination on either the rights of wanting to be or the requirements of having to be a parent.”

Nick Loeb and Sofia Vergara don’t seem to see eye to eye when it comes to what to do with the embryos. Sofia has denied that she wants to destroy them, but according to Mail Online, she has said that she wants to keep them frozen indefinitely. Now that Sofia is engaged to Joe Manganiello, she does not want to see the embryos that she created with Nick become babies. Even still, Nick feels that those embryos are just as much his, and he’d like the opportunity to see them through.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Sofia doesn’t want to have a child with Nick, and she feels like giving him the embryos would mean that they’d have a child (or children) together. Whether she chooses to be a part of the child’s life or not, that will still be her biological child. Not wanting to have any part of this is something that she feels is “understandable” since she and Nick broke up.

Sofia may want to have children with Joe Manganiello — if she can — but it’s clear that she doesn’t want to have children with Nick Loeb. Do you think Loeb should be given the embryos so that he may become a father or are his requests ridiculous?
