Brandi Glanville Defends ‘RHOBH’ Behavior, Tells Her Children She’s ‘Acting’

Brandi Glanville has a good reason for her bad behavior on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. According to an April 20 report, via Reality Tea, Glanville explained during an episode of Access Hollywood that she causes a stir on the Bravo series so she can pay her bills.

After admitting her oldest son, 11-year-old Mason, has asked her about her behavior on the show after being confronted with information at school, Brandi Glanville explained how she rationalizes her behavior.

“I just tell them I’m acting. I think one day they will understand that I’m a single-mom: I pay the rent, we have nice things, they go to a nice school, and I do it all myself. If I didn’t misbehave on television, I’m not sure how I would be paying those bills.”

Although Brandi Glanville’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, does pay her child support, he isn’t always employed, which makes those checks few and far between at times.

During season one of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi Glanville was seen with her two sons, Mason and Jake, but after signing onto the series full-time for Season 3, Cibrian restricted Glanville from having her sons on the show. At first, Brandi Glanville was very peeved about the restriction, and felt it didn’t give fans a real look at who she really was. However, Brandi Glanville has since had a change of heart, explaining that it might actually do her more harm than good, if her sons were on the series.

“I’m actually happy they’re not on the show with me because they’re a reflection of the parent, and they’re learning. They’ll ask questions that are highly inappropriate and you’ll think, ‘Thank God that’s not on TV!’ “

As for the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which Brandi Glanville has hinted she wouldn’t be a part of, Glanville also appears to have changed her tune.

“I think we’re all coming back because they had the best ratings ever.”

Brandi Glanville went on to claim her current boyfriend Jonathan “J.R” Ruiz was “the one,” despite their many breakups throughout the last couple of years.

“We care about each other. I don’t want to get married again, and he knows that. And I don’t think he wants to get married either.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, brandi Glanville has said on many occasions that she’s not sure about a return to the Bravo series. Most recently, Glanville told In Touch Weekly, via Real Mr. Housewife, she was still trying to figure out what was best for her future.
