Rachel Lynn Lehnardt: Daughter Defends Mother Who Threw Naked Twister Party, Says ‘Everyone Makes Mistakes’

Rachel Lynn Lehnardt has been in hot water after news broke that she allegedly threw her 16-year-old daughter a party that included not only alcohol and pot, but also naked Twister and sex. While Lehnardt has since been released on bail, her daughter, the 16-year-old in question, has taken to social media to defend her mother.

According to the Daily Mail, Rachel Lehnardt’s 16-year-old daughter took to Twitter to defend her mother, saying that “everyone makes mistakes.”

An earlier report by the Inquisitr stated that the whole fiasco began after Lehnardt, 35, allegedly told her Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor of the party while out for coffee. The sponsor then took the information to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office last Saturday, according USA Today.

Reports state that Lehnardt was arrested on Monday and was charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor for the party and was later released after posting a $3,200 bond.

While USA Today has since reported that Rachel Lehnardt has lost custody of her five children, ranging from ages 4 to 16, her eldest daughter is still sticking by her mother. She has since received a mixed bag of comebacks since coming to her mother’s defense on Twitter this past Tuesday.

One Twitter user responded to Lehnardt’s daughter’s post by saying, “Your mom’s a wh*re. Making mistakes means learning from them. She didn’t. Hope she rots in jail.”

Another wrote, “[Y]our mother is a savage and sounds like a good time. I’ll throw a banger in her honor if she wants to visit San Diego.”

While there are many out there who have not only damned Rachel Lehnardt’s behavior along with her daughter for defending her, there are some who are showing their support for the young girl.

One user responded to the daughter’s post by saying, “I ‘know’ ur mom & am so sorry this has become public! My thoughts are w/you guys & I hope things get easier!” while another posted “rag on the mother if you like… But you probably should lay off the daughter.”

All the conversation on the post stirred up so much controversy that Lehnardt’s daughter went so far as to post a second message claiming that she was done with social media.

According to the Daily Mail, Lehnardt’s daughter’s comments come shortly before Lehnardt herself released a statement through her lawyer, attempting to defend her actions. The statement was shared by Augusta Crime on Thursday, according to the report.

“‘Mrs. Lehnardt acknowledges that due to recent alcohol abuse she engaged in several acts of inappropriate conduct,’ said Shawn Hammond, Rachel Lehnardt’s lawyer. ‘Although, many of the allegations are exaggerated, she is extremely remorseful for what she allowed to occur in her presence and is obtaining professional and pastoral counseling to ensure that this conduct is never repeated.'”
