‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Week 7: Who Snatched The Game? [Spoilers]

After last week’s elimination, the queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race were throwing shade in the workroom. Kennedy Davenport’s fried chicken look was not gaining any fans. But that is in the past, and this week the infamous Snatch Game finally took place. And, oh boy, it was a doozy.

The Snatch Game, a parody of the show Match Game, has been a part of Drag Race since Season 2. The queens and two guest judges are asked a series of questions to see if any matches are made. The queens are tasked with portraying a famous personality and making it funny.

When the Snatch Game was announced, Violet Chachki and Miss Fame both voiced their want to bring Donatella Versace to the set. The two queens discussed it, and Miss Fame backed down at first. With an encouraging word from RuPaul, Miss Fame decided to go for Donatella. Violet was left flabbergasted until Ru spoke with her, suggesting a character switch to Alyssa Edwards.

Max finally tossed out the gray wig and opted for a bright orange one in her characterization of Sharon Needles, a former winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race. The look was on point, but the personality was not. Max failed to channel Sharon’s unique sense of humor and could not make the judges or Ru laugh. Jaidynn Diore Fierce did not fair much better with her rendition of Raven-Symone. The visions couldn’t help Jaidynn, and the act became tired and overdone.

Pearl was a somewhat disturbing version of Big Ang. The big lips were spot on and the deep voice was a bit scary. Katya did a powerful portrayal of Suze Orman and had the judges rolling with laughter. The two best performances were by Ginger Minj, who was an always-eating Adele, and Kennedy Davenport, Snatch Game’s very own Little Richard. Normally, a male characterization on a drag race is frowned upon. However, Kennedy surprised the judges with the risk, and hilarity ensued.

RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and Ross Matthews were joined by Michael Urie and Tamar Braxton on the judges panel. Michael and Tamar also played a part in the Snatch Game.

Pearl and Violet were safe without much comment from the judges. Both Katya and Miss Fame got praise and criticisms — the judges want to see more. Ginger Minj and Kennedy Davenport worked the runway, earning compliments from the judges. Both ladies won this week, earning themselves some feathered frocks.

The bottom two were Max and Jaidynn.

Despite the change of wigs, Max just could not compete with Jaidynn’s lip syncing. Max was sent home while Jaidynn was told to stay.

The most shocking news came after the elimination. RuPaul announced that a queen, one who had left all too soon, would be coming back into the race. What?!? That’s right, Ru is bringing back one of the girls who was eliminated during this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Were you sad to see Max go? Who do you want to be brought back to RuPaul’s Drag Race?
