Man Punches Toddler In The Face, Disturbing Footage Goes Viral
This surveillance camera footage shows a man punching a toddler directly in his face, knocking him down to the ground.
The toddler is seen running down the aisle of the Vest Market located in downtown Bakersfield, California. The man, 23-year-old Justin Whittington, is seen chasing the young boy. Once he catches up with the toddler, Whittington punches him directly in the face, knocking him to the floor.
Moments after the man punches the toddler, the surveillance footage shows him picking the toddler up and flipping him around. An unidentified woman comes shortly thereafter and escorts the toddler away from the scene of the incident. Whittington is seen walking away in the opposite direction as the toddler cries, holding his face.
According to ABC 30, the video was originally posted on Facebook Thursday. The footage has since been featured on many other websites and has also been discussed on social media.

The report further states that Justin Whittington was later arrested by Bakersfield Police and charged with child endangerment. The man was later booked into Kern County Jail. The toddler was examined by paramedics and is doing well.
