‘Grimm’: Juliette’s Going To Do A Bad Thing, But Here Are 4 Reasons Nick Shouldn’t Give Up On Her

Grimm viewers won’t get to see Nick (David Giuntoli) and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) get their happy ending anytime soon — Juliette’s next actions will really test her relationship with the Hexen-hater.

According to Latin Post, Juliette is going to really struggle with the biest within during tomorrow night’s episode of Grimm, “Hibernaculum.” She’ll finally tell Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) her dark secret, and she’ll beg them to help her save her humanity. However, her “dance with darkness” will lead her down a path that might ruin her relationship with Nick forever. In a promo clip, she gets dangerously close to sleeping with Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz). Luckily for the police captain, Nick will be busy dealing with a Wesen that freezes people this week. Unfortunately, it’s probably not Elsa from Frozen.

Right now, Nick and Juliette’s future on Grimm is looking very grim. Nick definitely was not a happy monster hunter when the love of his life suddenly gained the ability to transform herself into an extra on The Walking Dead, and Juliette probably felt even more lost and alone after seeing Nick’s reaction to her corpse-like transformation — they’d been through so much together, but his repulsion probably made her fear that it was all crumbling apart (their relationship, not her freakish woged face).

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bitsie Tulloch recently said that Juliette is scared of hurting Nick, but it doesn’t seem like Nick is ready to give up on her just yet. The Grimm could try to convince Juliette that being a Hexenbiest isn’t so bad, and he doesn’t even have to consult his trailer’s trove of Wesen lore to come up with a list of biest-ly benefits — listed below are a few of the many reasons Juliette’s terrifying transformation is actually a positive thing.

The Hexenbiest Home Security System

Nick always worries like crazy whenever he leaves Juliette home alone, especially if he knows that one of his numerous enemies is out there actively searching for him. However, now that Juliette is a Hexenbiest, she’s successfully defended herself from a Blutbad, a Manticore, and biest with a capital “B” Adalind (Claire Coffee). Unlike Nick, she didn’t need a closet full of medieval weapons to perform her monster mashes — in fact, she doesn’t even have to raise a finger to fight now that she can use her mind to do all the dirty work. Once Juliette finds a way to hold on to her humanity, perhaps she’ll begin honing her skills so that she can become an even deadlier wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Secret Identity Empathy

Just like Nick never asked to be a Grimm, Juliette never asked to be a Hexenbiest. Now, they both have secrets that they have to hide from the Muggle world. Nick’s secret identity as a Grimm made him feel like an outsider, and he quickly realized that he would no longer be able to live a normal life. Now Juliette is in a similar situation, and she and Nick should be leaning on each other instead of turning against one another. Because Nick sees a lot of darkness every day, he needs Juliette around to be the joy and the light that gives him the strength to continue to fight.

Nick is still learning about the Grimm world, and now Juliette has her own extensive research to do. Unlike Nick, she doesn’t have a whole trailer full of books to study, but hopefully the knowledge-hungry Hexenbiest will gain some invaluable knowledge about her new form from the spell book that used to belong to Adalind’s mother.

Being Nick’s New Superhuman Sidekick

Juliette’s new powers make her stronger and give her various superhuman powers (like telekinesis), making her more than capable of fighting alongside Nick. There are some wickedly strong Wesen out there, so her Hexenbiest abilities might come in handy someday. However, Juliette’s usefulness goes beyond battling beastly beings. With a little help from the aforementioned spell book and the unusual ingredients that Rosalee can conjure up at her spice shop, she could learn how to whip up the same powerful potions that Adalind has used to cause so much chaos. The ability to look like someone else could be used to covertly obtain information, and you should never underestimate the power of a batch of bloody love spell cookies.

Fellow Hexenbiest Elizabeth (Louise Lombard) could also teach Juliette the cool two-headed snake trick that brought Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) back from the dead. Nick has come perilously close to perishing multiple times, and he’s even been zombified. If Nick ever does flat-line in the future, that serpent spell would come in very handy.

Hexenbaby Bonding

Adalind was not a happy Hexenbiest when she discovered that she was pregnant with Nick’s child, and it’s doubtful that she’ll love the baby whenever it’s born. Actress Claire Coffee told TV Line that her character plans on using the infant as a tool to get her daughter Diana back, so hopefully Nick and Juliette get their hands on the baby before Adalind does something terrible with it to benefit herself. There’s a good chance that the child will turn out to be a Hexenbiest like its biological mother, making it easier for Juliette to bond with it.

Are you excited to see how Juliette and Nick continue to handle her new Hexenbiest form on Grimm, and do you think that her transformation will make them stronger or drive them apart?
