Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Bobby Brown To Leave Country For Tour

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s health hasn’t improved since she was checked into Atlanta’s Emory Healthcare on January 31. She’s currently in Atlanta’s Dekalb Medical hospital, but must now remain there without father Bobby Brown by her side, who is slated to leave the country to continue his tour.

Billboard reports that Bobby Brown is contractually obligated to continue on with his Australian tour, despite the fact that his daughter is still in a coma. While rumors circulated that he was upset about leaving, a representative for the “Every Little Step” singer confirmed that he was actually excited to get the tour started.

“Bobby is looking forward to performing in Australia.”

Brown missed several March shows to stay by his daughter’s side, and now must make up for his absence. He joins rappers Treach and Kay-Gee from Naughty by Nature for the tour.

Ticketmaster is now selling tickets for the May 30 show, at the Palais Theater, in St. Kilda, VC. Abstract Entertainment, however, states that the first concert starts at Queensland’s Jupiters Hotel & Casino Gold Coast, on May 26, and will continue on to New South Wales’ Rooty Hill RSL on May 28, and New South Wales’ Enmore Theater on May 29.

Earlier this year, Australia’s Ticketek confirmed that the Bobby Brown and Naughty By Nature tour would be postponed until May.

“Bobby Brown’s upcoming Australian Tour, featuring special guests Treach and Kay-Gee from Naughty By Nature, has been postponed to May to allow Bobby Brown to spend further time with his family.”

Meanwhile, People magazine reports that Bobby Kristina Brown’s family are beginning to plan for the future and are worried about the long-term effects of leaving her on life support for too long. Although there’s been speculation of disagreements among the family regarding Bobby Brown’s determination to keep his daughter on life support for too long, a family member recently spoke out on his behalf.

“You have to put yourself in Bobby’s position. If there was a 1% chance that she was in there, wouldn’t you wait? Your daughter would deserve that.”

Family members also confronted the rumors surrounding Bobby Kristina Brown’s $20 million inheritance. As speculations swirl that the family is only after Bobby Kristina’s money, some family members say that simply isn’t true, including a member of the Brown family, whose name was not disclosed.

“Bobby is not thinking about the money and never has been. I want to think that Pat and Gary [Houston] aren’t thinking about the money either. We all want what’s best for Krissy, and that has never changed. It doesn’t matter if she has $20 million or $2 in the bank. We love her and want her to recover.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown has lived a little over three months on life support. So far, there is still no indication of improvement. Family members request that fans and supporters pray for her recovery. Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, is still under investigation for her condition.
