Lamb With Human Face Shocks Village In Russia [Video]

The village of Chirka in south-western Russia had a shock this week when a lamb with a human face was born to a sheep farmer’s prized ewe.

According to the farmer, the animals face looked for all the world like “the hairy face of an old man.” According to the Telegraph, Blasius Lavrentiev, 45, said he almost “died from shock.” He had been waiting all week for the ewe to give birth, but never expected that she would produce a lamb with a human face. The lamb’s eyes, nose and mouth are similar to a human, but the ears look like a sheep’s ears.

Lavrentiev told the media that it had been a tough winter, so he was thrilled when he found the ewe was pregnant as it meant he would be able to sell the lambs and make some money after a rough time. However, when the birth actually happened, it was such a shock.

“When I went down to see how it was going I nearly died from shock when I saw what looked like the hairy face of an old man staring up at me.” “Her parents are both normal looking sheep so I have no idea how she ended up looking like this.”

Now the whole village is talking about the strange lamb with a human face. While some are terrified, others think she is quite cute. According to one of the neighbors, Dana Mishina, 56, the lamb is both “freaky and sweet.”

“I don’t know what to make of it really.” “But she terrifies my grandchildren. It will be interesting to see what she looks like when she gets older.”

Another neighbor, Dementi Galkin was quoted by the Express as saying he had seen some weird stuff in his time, but nothing like this.

“She looks like an angry old man with a big nose.”

According to Lavrentiev, when a local circus heard about the lamb with a human face, they offered him 10 times the normal going rate for the animal, but he said no, as he considers her to be a “little beauty.”

“I definitely won’t be selling her for anyone’s dinner table either as the buyers want her on display.” “She’ll be staying with us until then.”

As can be seen in the video above, the lamb with a human face also sounds a little different from the norm. While most think the lamb is quite cute, some users on Twitter have compared the poor little thing with the character of the Jigsaw Killer from the Saw film series and there certainly is a striking similarity.
