Who Is Noah Galloway, Sharna Burgess’ Partner, Of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2015 Spring Season?

Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess have fans buzzing already on this new season of Dancing With the Stars. Noah and Sharna started off the season with an impressive dance and many think they could be sticking around for a while this season. DWTS want to know more about Noah Galloway and there’s definitely a lot to learn.

As the ABC site shares, Noah Galloway served in the military during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Just into his second tour he was severely injured in an Improvised Explosive Device attack. The IED attack led to the loss of Noah’s left leg above the knee as well as his left arm above the elbow. He also experienced severe injuries to his jaw and right leg.

Galloway spent quite a bit of time at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center recovering from his injuries and it was an intense battle. After some time of struggling, the DWTS competitor reconsidered how he was handling the changes he had been given and set goals to turn things around. He has shared that he looked in the mirror and from that day on he fought to reach new goals and heights.

Noah is now a motivational speaker and personal trainer, inspiring everybody he meets. He’s participated in a number of races and he recently was on the cover of Men’s Health Magazine after being named their 2014 Ultimate Guy.

In addition to his motivation speaking and athleticism, Galloway created a charity called the No Excuses Charitable Fund. The fund’s goal is to raise awareness and money for organizations that inspire him, and currently the fund lends support to the YMCA in Alabaster, Alabama as well as to Operation Enduring Warrior.

This Dancing With the Stars 2015 season competitor is 33-years-old and originally hails from Alabama. As AL notes, Galloway does have a girlfriend, but he knows that he may spark some passionate adoration from DWTS fans. Noah recently shared a picture showing him with his girlfriend via his Instagram, calling her the love of his life.

It seems that Galloway’s girlfriend, Jamie Boyd, has been training at Fort Leonard Wood. He shared that she has been very supportive of him and excited about how his journey with DWTS is going. Fans seem to be teasing him quite a bit about a possible engagement coming, but for now fans will have to stay tuned on that front.

This DWTS competitor is also a father to three kids, sons Jack and Colston along with daughter Rian. He’s been divorced twice and dedicated fans can lend their support to him via Twitter using the hashtag #NoExcusesNoah.

While Dancing With the Stars has had some competitors with motivating backgrounds on before, Noah Galloway may be the one who inspires the viewers most of all. While some make comparisons between Galloway and Amy Purdy, who is a double amputee who participated recently with Derek Hough, Noah says their challenges are significantly different.

Amy’s legs were both amputated below the knee, while Noah’s amputations were above the knee and elbow. He says there’s just no comparison between those two. While he had to do some thinking about whether to join the show after being contacted by Dancing With the Stars, ultimately he went for it as it’s like nothing he’s done before.

Fans wanting to help Noah and Sharna stick around this season will need to call 1-855-234-5605 each week and make sure to vote every way they can. There will be some stiff competition this season with the likes of Rumer Willis, Nastia Liukin and Riker Lynch in the mix, but Galloway’s fans are excited and motivated to see him inspire viewers each week.

Noah Galloway says that Dancing With the Stars is an exciting and new challenge and he’s pushing hard to try to win. His DWTS partner Sharna Burgess has shown she’s all-in as well and fans are doing their best to help them hit the finish line to grab that mirror-ball trophy at the end.
