Jude Law’s Ex, Catherine Harding, Gives Birth To His Fifth Child
Aspiring singer and songwriter Catherine Harding gave birth to a healthy baby girl with ex-boyfriend Jude Law. No birth details were released to the public, but a representative confirmed the birth of Law’s fifth child.
Last Wednesday, the actor’s representative told Los Angeles Times, “I can confirm the arrival of Jude Law and Catherine Harding’s daughter. Both are delighted and continue to ask that their privacy and that of their child be respected.”

Harding’s pregnancy was announced to the public October last year and came with a statement from Law’s rep. The representative pointed out that the two were not in a relationship but were committed in fulfilling their responsibilities as parents.
“… Jude Law and Catherine Harding are expecting a child together in the spring. Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child. They consider this as a private matter and other than this confirmation no statement will be made,” the actor’s representative told People Magazine. Based on this previous statement, it seems that the actor has been keen in keeping his family affairs off the speculation of the media and has done a very good job at it until the birth of his daughter.
Popularly known as Cat Cavelli, Harding is an Irish native who earned her fame years ago on the British version of The X-Factor. She got together with the two-time Oscar nominated actor while he was on location for his movie, Spy, in the Czech Republic. Harding was reported to have relocated to Hampstead Village in London to be closer to Law.
The 42-year-old actor has three kids with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost. With her, he has two sons, namely Rafferty (18) and Rudy (12), and a daughter named Irish (14). After six years of marriage, Frost and Law broke up in 2003. Next, Law had his fourth child, a daughter, named Sophia (5), with model Samantha Burke.
In the past, Law was also engaged to actress Sienna Miller, who was his costar in the movie Alfie. The two broke up after the actor apologized for cheating on her with his children’s nanny. Miller, however, was not all innocent. She also admitted to cheating with Law on Skyfall star Daniel Craig.
Many fans are waiting for the couple to release photos and further details of their daughter. Until then, Harding and Law are playing the silent card and just enjoying quality time with their new bundle of joy.
