Zayn Malik Denies Cheating, Says He ‘Loves A Girl Named Perrie Edwards’
Zayn Malik is denying those cheating allegations. Or maybe he’s denying those pesky breakup rumors. It’s not quite clear what the One Directioner is trying to say on his Twitter account. The 22-year-old took to the social networking site to deny something and to apologize for the PDA photos with a mystery blonde that’s clearly not Perrie Edwards.
After photos surfaced of Malik holding hands with a random woman named Lauren Rich on Tuesday night, he took to Twitter to state his age and say he still loves his fiancée, Perrie Edwards.
Zayn wrote: “I’m 22 years old … I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there’s a lot of jealous f***ks in this world I’m sorry for what it looks like x.”
Hollywood Life noted that his tweet looks like half a denial, and half an apology. Maybe Malik’s denying that he cheated on Edwards with Rich. Or maybe he’s denying that he and Edwards split, and he’s just friends with the mystery girl. But why would Malik apologize for the very obvious PDA photos that were leaked by a fan? Maybe he’s sorry for looking extra cozy and flirty with Rich?
Meanwhile, J-14 thinks that it was sweet of Zayn to publicly declare of his love for the Little Mix singer. The magazine site doesn’t believe that he cheated on his fiancée. They believe that the photos were either taken at a funny angle, or that he was just hanging out with a fan.
But to make matters worse, Rich shared a photo of herself with Malik on late Tuesday night. The photo shows the boy bander with his arm around her waist, as they partied the night away in Phucket, Thailand.
The mystery blonde captioned the photo: “Partying with Zayn from One Direction last night.” The photo also included a heart eyes emoji hashtags saying One Direction and that it was the “best night” of her life. That photo is enough to make fans go, “Hmm.”
The Hollywood Life report appeared to have a change of heart as well. That very same report said that the two were probably just dancing at the club.
It’s not like cheating rumors haven’t followed Malik before. He’s been engaged to Edwards since the summer of 2013, and fans have been wondering when they’ll finally tie the knot. Since then, Malik has allegedly cheated on Edwards with a waitress, a One Direction groupie, and various online encounters, according to a previous report on the Inquisitr.
Zayn and Perrie have been apart a lot of time apart lately, since he and his band mates have been performing on the international leg of their On The Road tour.
