Chris Brown and Rihanna are both reported to be back in Los Angeles together ahead of Brown’s arraignment hearing set for Thursday.
The status of the case against Brown remains confused, with reports that the LAPD has delivered evidence to the LA District Attorney, but the LADA has denied receiving a new brief. Another report suggests that a plea bargain may be in the works, one that would avoid a full blown trial. Brown would plead no contest to misdemeanor domestic battery and receive no jail time.
Complicating any charges further are reports suggesting that Rihanna may testify in Brown’s defense. According to sources, Rihanna doesn’t want Brown getting in to any more trouble than he’s already in, so will admit to “her part” in the incident.
