James Farentino Died Of A Broken Hip, Not Heart Failure

We recently reported that Hollywood legend James Farentino died from complications brought on by heart failure but now the actor’s death certificate has been revealed and it shows that he passed away from a broken hip.

There’s still the possibility that heart failure contributed to the actors death however the official cause of death has been listed as “sequelae of right hip fracture.”

Sequela is just a doctor’s way of saying a pathological condition that came about from a previous injury, in other works the broken hip.

Farentino broke his hip in December after he fell out of his bed and that injury eventually led to complications that led to his death in December.

James Farentino was just 73-years-old at the time of his death.
