Artist Creates ‘Explosive’ Controversial Painting Of President Obama, Liberals Reportedly Furious

Jon McNaughton has created quite a name for himself as one of the most notable conservative painters on social media. Most of his detailed paintings tackle issues related to politics and religion through symbolism. However, his latest painting of President Obama has gone viral. The jaw-dropping portrait captures the president on the golf course, reports CBS News. Of course, that doesn’t seem odd considering the president is known for spending time on the golf course. But, the background imagery is where the eye-catching symbolism lies.

Instead of sunny skies painting in blue and white with hints of bright sunlight, there are bright red and orange colors with hints of grey and black. There are also visible nuclear bombs dropping from the sky and a big cloud of smoke from an explosion. Although there’s visible chaos behind the golf course, a seemingly odd President Obama continues to smile and play golf. So, what does it symbolize? Apparently, the painting makes depicts Obama’s alleged lack of regard where the importance of foreign policy is concerned.

The painting, which is reportedly titled “Obama’s Foreign Policy” quickly began circulating on social media and has gone viral since McNaughton shared it via Twitter and Facebook on Mar. 2. McNaughton also included a Facebook post explaining the controversial nature of the painting, reports Huffington Post. McNaughton’s website also includes the description about the painting.

I felt a need to paint a new image to capture the delicate situation we face as Americans.

What has happened since he’s been in office? Where is the stability and peace in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Crimea, Ukraine, Russia, Iran, Israel, Palestine, China and North Korea? How are our veterans doing? Are American citizens safer as they travel abroad?

When the balance of the world seems to stand on the edge of a knife, where is our President?

I hope this painting will not become prophetic in its meaning.

Since Obama has been President he has played over 200 rounds of golf.

While some users find the symbolism to be quite creative, there are some who are outraged by what the picture symbolizes.
