Marilyn Manson’s Dad Has A Ball Dressing Up As His Shock Rocker Son In Bizarre Yet Freakishly Sweet Photo Shoot

Marilyn Manson’s dad recently joined his shock rocker offspring for the sort of father and son portrait that wouldn’t look out of place hanging in the halls of American Horror Story’s notorious Murder House.

When Marilyn Manson was preening, prancing, posturing, and pimping his trademark look during a photo shoot with Terry Richardson for his cover story with Paper Magazine, young Mason had the surprise of his life, when his dad Hugh Warner ambushed him dressed as, you got it, his famous son.

Take a long, hard look at this photo people. Talk about curdling mamma’s freshest milk. It’s enough to send shivers up the spine of a 300-year-old corpse.

Even though Marilyn and his father look like they’ve just been dug up and dressed in matching black outfits before having clown make-up, black shadow eyeliner, and blood red lipstick liberally applied to their grumpy faces, there’s something freakishly sweet about the photo of Manson and his war veteran father. Not only is the resemblance between the two remarkable, Richardson has definitely captured the elusive yet steely strong bond that the two Warners obviously share.

After the initial shock and instinctive fear that every child is engulfed by, no matter their age, when their parent suddenly springs up in a strange setting wearing bizarre clothes and make-up, Manson confesses he was amused by his dad’s appearance.

“That’s a good Ghost of Christmas Future. When I see pictures of my dad, I’m like, he looks like me.”

Revealingly, Manson also hints to Paper Magazine that he got his initial love for wearing make-up from his dad, who was a massive Kiss fan.

“The first time I saw my dad in makeup was, ironically, the second concert I ever went to. He was dressed as Gene Simmons and took me to the KISS Dynasty tour when I was 11. And people were asking my dad for his autograph.”
