Taylor Swift Now Says Love Is Not A Priority, That She’ll Probably Be Single At 30

Taylor Swift, the 25-year-old songstress who was often known for her lyrics that detailed the sometimes unhappy history of her love life, has stated in an interview that she’s in a different place now and that love isn’t a priority, according to Access Hollywood.
She stated the following in an interview.

“I’m in a different place in my life, where love isn’t really a priority. I haven’t dated anyone in years so there’s less chatter about the serial dater thing. I’m just really excited at an awards show when they don’t make some weird joke about my dating life. I used to think it was important to find a boyfriend. But I don’t feel that it is now. I just want to have as much fun and as many adventures as possible.”

Taylor noted that she’s happy with her life as it stands now, getting together with independent female friends who have their own lives and jobs, where Swift is not the central focus, indicating that she wouldn’t be comfortable with “that dynamic.”

Taylor Swift admitted that she had “a bit of a reputation for having a lot of boy-bashing songs,” but that seems to be in her past now, with her new upbeat pop songs. She noted that dating her, with all the paparazzi in tow, is often difficult, and that she may find herself single for a long time, stating the following in an Access Hollywood interview.

“I’ll be 30. I’ll probably still be single, let’s be honest. No one’s going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it. Like, ‘Hi, nice to meet you, want a date? Do you love camera flashes? I hope you do!’ I don’t know what’s going to happen if I’m ever content in a relationship – no idea how that’s going to work. I don’t even know if that’s possible with the life I have.”

Swift, obviously tongue-in-cheek, foresaw herself in five years as a “cat lady” surrounded by armies of cats, with her following them with a lint roller, cleaning the couch, according to MSN Entertainment. Let’s face it: Taylor will find love again and won’t ever be lonely unless she chooses to be. What will happen if Swift finds love again? Taylor indicated that it will affect her music in the following way.

“If that does happen, I think I could find complexity in happiness. I don’t think anything’s ever simple. Just because you’re happy in a relationship doesn’t mean that there aren’t moments of confusion or frustration or loneliness or sadness. Hopefully, if I ever find some sort of meaningful relationship, I’ll be able to still find inspiration, just through the everyday ups and downs….I used to think it was important to find a boyfriend, but I don’t feel that it is now. I just want to have as much fun and as many adventures as possible.”

In addition to being with her friends and sending gifts to fans, Taylor indicated that she’s trying to not take things too seriously, and that her fans help her by making light of herself. Swift even indicated that she reviews fans’ social media sites when deciding what gift a particular fan may like, according to MSN Entertainment.

It appears that Taylor’s gal friends and her “Swifties” are enough for now, but that she’ll be able to handle any new love interest that should enter her new life.

According to the Inquisitr, Taylor has been accused by some fans of exploiting a terminally ill fan to further her career.

But Taylor Swift has also been seen as being loyal to her legion of fans not only gifting them but also by inviting them to her house.
