Senior Citizens Covered ‘Uptown Funk’… And It’s Pretty Awesome

“Uptown Funk” has brought a group of senior citizens out of their homes and into the streets as they get down to Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s hit single. Recreated by singer and actor Alex Boye, the funky song features a few lyric changes and is accompanied by a music video made even better with sharply dressed grandparents carousing through.

In the video, Boye channels his inner Bruno Mars whilst the seniors cruise and dance about on the screen – there was even an older woman who performed quite an impressive split at one point. And, if that wasn’t awesome enough, in the YouTube description, Boye said “All the grandmas and grandpas in this video did their own stunts.

“They range in age from 65-92! Between them, they have raised 500 children, 1,200 grandchildren, and 250 great grandchildren!!!”
