Sophie Wong, 3, Recites Martial Arts Creed At Taekwondo Studio [Video]

Sophie Wong has quickly become an inspiration — and an internet sensation! According to People Magazine, the 3-year-old Taekwondo student repeated the martial arts creed after her sensei. The youngster may have said some of the words wrong, and may not have understood the meaning behind each phrase, but she sure was convincing!

According to the Huffington Post U.K., the child is learning taekwondo in a class with other kids her age at the Premier Martial Arts Leeds. Sophie’s mom says that her daughter is super enthusiastic because her older brother, Harry, 6, is really into martial arts.

“She loves to learn and copies her brother, and I just wanted her to come and learn about discipline, attention and the concentration that she might need in school,” Sophie’s mom, Wendy, said.

Sophie Wong is quite confident for a toddler, and that is something that martial arts brings about for people of all ages. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there was a story about a rabbi who taught martial arts to children with cancer as a way to boost their confidence. You can read about that here.
