‘Star Wars Episode 7’ Opening Scene: ‘The Force Awakens’ Could Begin With This Sequence [Rumor]

The Star Wars Episode 7 opening scene may have been revealed, according to a source that has been known to provide accurate spoilers. This is one of many rumors that the director has given a cryptic nod to.

Potential spoilers have leaked across the internet for the upcoming Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens, and it’s still unknown which ones may be true.

In case you missed it, this could be a major Star Wars 7 spoiler, and even though director J.J. Abrams doesn’t mind people reading potential plot revelations, you might want to skip this article.

Yes, J.J. Abrams has gone on record with BBC News after hearing that some of them have circulated the internet.

“There are a ton of [rumors] – some true, some false. But I’m grateful for everyone who would want to read a spoiler because it means that they care and want to see the movie.

“I know what it feels like, as an enormous Star Wars fan myself.”

One rumor recently revealed is the following Star Wars Episode 7 opening scene, according to Cinema Blend.

“A lightsaber falls through space and lands in a savannah-like landscape, where Naka, a farmer, eventually finds it. He picks it up, lights it, and accidentally starts a fire. Scared, he starts to run away but thinks again and decides to save the lightsaber from the fire.

Naka takes the lightsaber to his elder The Vicar (possibly Max von Sydow), who in turn contacts the rebels. This summons Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron to the planet, but unfortunately and unknowingly brings representatives of the Empire as well. Dameron puts the lightsaber inside the B-88 droid, which runs off to safety.

“Finn, a young Stormtrooper played by John Boyega, sees his best friend die in battle and decides to let some villagers flee. This results in Kylo Renn (possibly Adam Driver) arresting him for insubordination. Finn is sent to the brig of a Star Destroyer where he meets Peo Dameron. Between the two of them, they decide to steal a TIE fighter and escape.”

This might not be the actual Star Wars Episode 7 opening scene, but if it is, you now know what to expect after the opening text crawl.

We will have to wait until the Star Wars 7 release date in December before we know if this is the true Star Wars Episode 7 opening scene.
