Matthew Baier Is ‘Just An A**,’ Claims ‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood
Matthew Baier isn’t the Teen Mom super fan he’s been pegged as, according to his girlfriend Amber Portwood.
Since Baier was revealed as Portwood’s mystery boyfriend at the end of last year, he has been making headlines for his comments about Portwood and the other Teen Mom stars. However, while Baier’s comments can’t be denied, Portwood claims it’s all in good fun.
On February 18, Portwood took to Twitter, where she set the record straight.
“I’m done with these rrumors that Matt is a TM superfan he talked crap about us months ago and quit after we met if anything he’s just an a**.”
Portwood also claimed Matthew Baier was “sweet.”
“Matt is a very sweet man with an a**hole sense of humor…that is why were great together lol.”
In response to Portwood’s tweets, Baier jokingly asked, “What did you say babe? All I heard was a**hole. Haha.”
Portwood and Baier have reportedly been dating since last year. After striking up a romance, the couple took things slow, and chose to keep their relationship private. Then, in September, Portwood spoke of the relationship for the first time during an interview with Starcasm.
“I have been talking specifically to one person and I really do feel like I love him, but we’re not together. We’re taking things really slow. I have to get myself back in gear and tell myself, ‘Ok, I can trust men, I just have to not be naive.’ That’s a problem that I have because I’m very naive when it comes to love … I do believe that I trust this man. I hope that I can trust him.”
While Portwood kept Matthew Baier’s identity a secret during the interview, it was revealed months later by Radar Online, who claimed the 43-year-old was obsessed with bashing the stars of Teen Mom.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Baier has taken aim at Portwood, Jenelle Evans, whom he called a “train wreck,” Kailyn Lowry, and Farrah Abraham.
According to the report, Baier tweeted about Evans and her fiancé, Nathan Griffith, over one hundred times, spotlighting their issues with substance abuse and claiming their parenting was not nearly up to par.
In tweets about Lowry, Baier said she looked like she’s allergic to shellfish, and told fans her face breaks his television. He also accused her of banging ugly dudes and cheating on her boyfriend.
Regarding Abraham, Baier pointed out that she does porn, and speaking of his now-girlfriend, Portwood, Baier said she “beat her man.”
Matthew Baier is expected to appear alongside Portwood in the upcoming season of Teen Mom, which premiers on MTV on Monday, March 23 at 10 p.m.
