Is A Duggar Courting A Bates? Erin Bates Says A Duggar-Bates Wedding Is ‘Almost Inevitable’

The Duggar family from TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting are known for their conservative Christian values and large family. The Duggars are good friends with the Bates family, who also have 19 kids of their own and a reality series called Bringing Up Bates. With both families sharing the same family values, many fans of the shows are hoping to see a Duggar-Bates wedding in the near future. Fortunately for those fans hoping for a wedding, Erin Bates feels a Duggar-Bates marriage union is “almost inevitable.”

Erin Bates, the second oldest Bates daughter, recently sat down for an interview with ET and spoke about her miscarriage, pregnancy, and the possibility of a future Duggar-Bates wedding. Erin recently found out she was pregnant following a devastating miscarriage. Erin was beaming with excitement as she shared a sonogram photo of her new bundle of joy with fans on the first episode of Bringing Up Bates on UP television.

The pregnant Bates discussed the closeness that the Bates and Duggar families share. Erin says that throughout her pregnancy, she has texted Jill Dillard for advice when she is struggling with something. Erin says Jill is “a good friend” and that she “always gives advice.”

“Jill Duggar has been such an encouragement throughout the pregnancy. I text her every once in a while asking a question, and she’s so sweet. She always gives advice. Last week she was sharing to try to portion my food and eat this many vegetables and drink this much water. So she’s a big help, just knowing that she’s been through the midwife classes. She’s a good friend.”

After bringing up the Duggar family, Erin was asked about the probability of a Duggar-Bates wedding in the near future. Erin seems to think a marriage between a member of the Duggar family and Bates family is “almost inevitable.”

“I personally think, hey you have 19 kids on each side, I think it’s almost inevitable somewhere down the line. As much as we see each other, I think there’s going to be an attraction somewhere. I don’t know where yet, but I think it’s gonna happen.”

With Erin admitting that the bond shared by the Duggar and Bates family could likely end with the family joining together as one with the marriage of members from both families, fans have already begun speculating which two are the most likely to pair up for the big day. In fact, the Inquisitr previously reported on the possibility of Joseph Duggar And Tori Bates entering into a courtship.
