Adam Lind Custody Battle Update

Adam Lind and Taylor Halbur appeared in court earlier this week to discuss the custody of their daughter, Paislee Mae.

Throughout their time on Teen Mom 2, Lind and Halbur appeared to be happy together. However, amid filming on Season 5, the couple parted ways. While they appeared to have done so amicably at the time, things seemed to have recently taken a turn for the worse.

On February 13, Ecumenical News reported the following.

“Adam Lind has anything but a clean sheet when it comes to his criminal record. The 23-year-old construction worker had a protection order filed against him by his other ex-girlfriend, Brooke Beaton after he allegedly grabbed her arms and threw her. In a Lake County court department, Beaton wrote that she afraid for her safety. He has also been accused of violent behavior with another ex-girlfriend, Jessica Nicole.”

As fans of Teen Mom 2 saw on the show, Lind began dating Nicole after his relationship ended with Halbur in May 2014. Prior to Halbur, Lind dated Chelsea Houska, the mother of his first child, daughter Aubree.

Although Halbur hasn’t directly responded to the custody battle, she has shared a couple of tweets that appear to be related.

On February 11 at 4:30 in the morning, she wrote, “Can’t really fall back asleep. Well might as well get up. #morningworkout.”

On the day of the hearing, she shared an Instagram photo of herself, her boyfriend, and Paislee with the hash tag, “Love My Life.”

The following day she shared a meme with the caption, “Needed this,” that said, “Every day is a new beginning. Take a deep breath and start again.”

As the Inquisitr reported on Monday, Adam Lind reportedly posted a message on Facebook on Monday regarding his fight with Halbur. In the message, Lind claimed he hadn’t seen Paislee, 1, in two months. He also claimed he was forced to file custody papers in order to see her at all.

At the end of last year, a source claimed Halbur had grown close to Adam Lind’s ex-girlfriend, Houska, in an effort to get a leg up on their custody battle.

“Chelsea and Taylor are putting aside their differences because they both want the best for their kids,” a source close to Houska told Radar Online in December. “They don’t trust Adam and are concerned about the recent series of events in his life.”

“Taylor has damning information about Adam to tell Chelsea. They know they will catch him in so many lies.”

Adam Lind is currently filming the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, which is expected to premiere on MTV later this year.
