‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Star Tamra Barney Reaches Out To Vicki Gunvalson After Her Mother’s Death

The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Tamra Barney has reached out to her former friend, Vicki Gunvalson.

Although the pair have reportedly not spoken since the season nine reunion show, Barney shared a heartfelt message to Gunvalson on social media after hearing of the passing of her mother.

“As my heart is full of joy with the birth of Ava. My heart is also broken for my dear friend @vickigunvalson,” Barney wrote on Instagram on February 10.

“Almost to the hour she said good bye to her dear mother as I said hello to my grand-baby. I am so sorry I could not be there for you. We will celebrate each life when we both get home. Our lives will never be the same my friend. Love you like a sister.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Gunvalson, who has starred on The Real Housewives of Orange County since Season 1, announced her mother’s death on Instagram last week.

“Tonight I received a phone call that is every person’s worst nightmare,” she wrote.

“My amazing, beautiful and strong mother passed on and is now with the love of her life my father in heaven. I am who I am today, because of her. An amazing cook, organized, bold personality and had a sense of style and fashion that I adored. I miss you so much mommy! My life will never be the same without you to give me advice and your wisdom. You were so healthy and so vibrant and so beautiful. I still need you. I love you MOM.”

In a second Inquisitr report, it was revealed Gunvalson had also received support from two other members of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

“Thank you @lizzierovsek and Christian for the beautiful flowers and thinking of me during this difficult time,” Gunvalson wrote to cast member Lizzie Rovsek after receiving her gift.

In another message to Katie Hamilton, the show’s newest housewife, Gunvalson said, “Thank you Katie Hamilton for the beautiful flowers and for thinking of me during this sad time for us. I sincerely appreciate it.”

In an interview with Us Weekly earlier this year, Gunvalson discussed the relationship between herself and her co-stars.

“You know, I’ve learned through the years who you can trust when the cameras are off, and who you can trust when the cameras are on. Shannon [Beador] and I are really close. We became very good friends. She’s been an amazing support for Brooks and his cancer. Lizzie and I talk every not and then. Heather [Dubrow] has been a great friend.”

“I haven’t spoken to Tamra since the reunion, so it’s been a long time, and we literally work less than a half a block from each other. I see her car in her parking lot, and I’m sure she sees mine. We just don’t cross paths.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10 premieres on Bravo later this year.
