Whitney Houston’s Death And Aunt’s Warnings Haunt Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Family: ‘She Is Not Safe’ [Video]

In 2012, Bobbi Kristina and her famous mother, Whitney Houston, were reportedly looking forward to the illustrious annual Grammy Awards. And then, in an event that still remains shadowy as to the precise details, Houston was discovered in the bathtub of a guest room in Beverly Hills, California. Her death occurred on February 11, 2012, the day prior to the Grammy ceremony, reports the Daily Mail.

At 21, Bobbi Kristina Brown was viewed as a child by many members of her family, who have traveled, grief-stricken, to her intensive care unit room at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Since she was discovered face-down, not breathing, in the bathtub of her own home in Georgia, she has remained comatose.

Bobby Brown has stayed by his daughter’s side, joined by his wife, Alicia, who is pregnant. And as the Inquisitr reported, Whitney Houston’s mother, Cissy, has also traveled to be with her granddaughter.

Cissy Houston is hoping and praying that through the power of music, she can reach Bobbi Kristina, whom she lovingly calls Krissy. The thought of having to go through the unbearably sorrowful process of mourning her granddaughter, as she did Whitney, is causing the already frail 81-year-old to have health problems.

Below, Cissy talks with Oprah Winfrey about Whitney’s death.

But questions remain unanswered. How and why did Bobbi Kristina Brown lose consciousness?

Although police did reveal that they found drugs in the home, it has now emerged that officials have launched a criminal investigation, according to TMZ.

Sources revealed that a known history of violence existed between Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend, Nick Gordon. Consequently, the police are investigating the possibility of an altercation between the two.

The sequence of events prior to taking Bobbi Kristina to the hospital involves two other people, according to sources. Max Lomas, a friend, was in the home and let a cable company employee into the house around 10 a.m.

At that time, Max said he did not know the whereabouts of Nick. When the cable person needed access to the bedroom, Max opened the door, at which point he found Bobbi Kristina lying unresponsive in the bathtub.

Screaming for Nick, Max then watched as Nick rushed to the room to administer CPR. Max also alleges that it was Nick who removed any and all blood stains.

What happened eerily reflects a 2012 interview between Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown, and Access Hollywood.

In that interview, Leolah spoke out for the first time since Whitney’s death. And her words then send a chilling message now as she defended her brother Bobby and warned her niece, Bobbi Kristina, about what she saw as dangers from others in her future.

At that time, Bobbi Kristina, who she also called Krissy, was only 18-years-old.

“I am concerned about my niece Bobbi Kristina. Krissy is not safe right now. I want to say to Krissy that it’s very, very, very important that she does not trust anybody at this time. Anybody except her father, her grandmother Cissy and myself. And I mean that.”
