Ashley Salter Dumped By Chris Soules: ‘Bachelor’ Calls Contestant Crazy
Ashley Salter may not have stood out as much during the first night of The Bachelor, when Chris Soules was meeting the other ladies, but it sounds like she made quite the impression on Soules this week – and not in a good way. In fact, Ashley’s outrageous behavior caused her to get the boot. Salter may have been a tad bit aggressive in her approach, but it sounds like Chris thinks that she was just too scary and forward.
In fact, Ashley Salter was sent home because she was too fast on the trigger when it came to moving forward. Now, Soules is sharing his thoughts about Salter. And he doesn’t deny that she was entertaining to say the least. In his official Bachelor blog, Soules is now revealing why Ashley got the boot after only a few episodes.
According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Ashley Salter was simply too much and too unpredictable. Of course, he has always been the first to defend her behavior, because he does believe in originality. But Salter did take it too far for Chris’ comfort level when they had some alone time.
“Speaking of a little crazy, let’s talk about Ashley S,” Chris revealed in his blog, adding, “Everyone keeps asking me about her. Truth is, the week before she had been totally normal, and I was excited that night to really get to know her better. Whether it was the full moon or the camping vibe, something brought out Ashley S.’s, uh, ‘eccentric’ side. When we did sit down to talk, she tried to have a deep conversation with me. The only problem was that I had absolutely no idea what she was saying.”
And when Ashley Salter started spilling her feelings, it was too much for him to handle. While Ashley may have already been planning their wedding and future children, clearly this farmer was starting to plan her exit.
“And then she told me she loved me,” he points out, adding, “Yeah, that was uncomfortable. I honestly didn’t know how to respond. I wasn’t really flattered because I knew what she was saying wasn’t true; it was the full moon talking! That conversation was definitely the last straw in my relationship with Ashley S.”
It sounds like Ashley Salter got the boot because she may see love in a different way than he does. But at least there were other positive highlights during this week’s episode, as covered by the Inquisitr. Plus, this season has been fun to watch, especially with Jimmy Kimmel‘s appearances.
