Mama June Doesn’t Need Sugar Bear’s Money, But Wants Him to Visit Honey Boo Boo

All good things really do come to an end, at least according to Mama June Shannon. Fans of the reality series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo may be devastated — or elated — to learn, despite attempts to work through their issues, Mama June and her longtime partner, Sugar Bear, have finally called it quits.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the couple’s recent attempt to revive their relationship was derailed by Sugar Bear’s continued use of internet dating websites. The same issue was initially blamed for Sugar Bear and Mama June’s split in early 2014.

The couple’s troubles date back to 2014, when Mama June announced her split with Sugar Bear, and accused him of cheating on her with his internet vixens. Then news broke that Mama June had rekindled her relationship with Mark McDaniel. McDaniel, a convicted child sex offender, had been released from prison shortly before he and Mama June were spotted house hunting with Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson in tow. McDaniel’s conviction stemmed from his sexual assault of Mama June’s oldest daughter, Anna, when she was eight-years-old.

It’s never been confirmed whether or not Mama June and McDaniel’s relationship was romantic in nature, but the evidence that they had been in contact and that McDaniel had contact with Honey Boo Boo was enough to convince TLC to cut ties. The family’s reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was unceremoniously cancelled, and all episodes were pulled from reruns on the TLC Network, and all mention of the show was purged from the TLC website.

When the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services started investigating at the behest of many fans and family members, Mama June ditched McDaniel and let Sugar Bear move back in rather than losing custody of her children.

This time around, neither party seems willing to give in. Mama June recently purchased a new dream home in Georgia. The home is 3,225 square feet and has four bedrooms, just enough for Mama June and her three younger daughters Jessica, 18, Lauryn, 15, and Alana, 9.

Fans have expressed concern over the price tag attached to the beautiful new home, which set Mama June back $149,000.

While Mama June is preparing to move into the house of her dreams, Sugar bear is moving into a double wide trailer he rented with his brother. Sugar Bear’s new digs are almost 90 minutes away from Mama June’s dream home, which is straining the couple’s efforts to set a visitation schedule. No need for Sugar Bear to worry about the price of gas, Mama June says she will give Sugar Bear a break on child support, because she just doesn’t need it.
