Britney Spears’ Ex Kevin Federline Worried New Beau Charlie Ebersol Just Another Jerk
Britney Spears has a man watching out for her — and it’s her ex. OK! Magazine reported on Wednesday that the pop superstar’s ex, Kevin Federline, had a “man-to-man” talk with her new boyfriend, Charlie Ebersol, to make sure that he has good intentions and isn’t using her for fame and money.
According to an insider, Kevin had a serious talk with Charlie because he’s tired of seeing Britney, with whom he has two children with, being taken advantage of. The source said that Kevin “knows how badly [Britney] wants to settle down and have a couple more kids” so he had the talk “to be sure [that] Charlie wasn’t just another jerk-in-waiting.”
Thankfully for Britney, the talk between the two men, while not smooth-sailing, went reasonably well. The source revealed that Charlie had a hard time convincing Kevin about his feelings for Britney, but the two reached an “understanding.” If anything, Charlie now knows that if he messes with Britney, he messes with Kevin.
“Things are fine between them. Charlie’s impressed that Britney’s got such a loyal protector in her ex-husband.”
Britney Spears and Charlie Ebersol certainly seem as if they’re in a very happy and stable relationship. The two celebrated the end of 2014 and the start of 2015 with one another, in a low-key celebration that involved not champagne but hot chocolate.

Spears confirmed that she was dating Ebersol, a producer and writer, in November 2014. She told Extra that “there is a special someone” in her life. When pressed for details, she said that “it’s very new.”
Despite the short amount of time that they’ve been together, there are rumors that the pop star is already ready to move on to the next stage of their relationship. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Spears is even reportedly thinking of having a baby with Charlie. After a broken engagement to Jason Trawick and being cheated on by David Lucado, perhaps Britney will finally find her Prince Charming in Charlie?
Britney Spears has been very vocal about her desire to have more kids. In a September 2014 interview with Ellen Jokikunnas for Radio Aalto in Finland, Britney said that in 10 years, she wants to be “married with two more kids.”
