‘The Fosters’ Spoilers: Winter Premiere Brings Tense Moments As Season 3 News Breaks


The Fosters Season 2 resumes on ABC Family in just a few more days, and fans are thrilled to hear that the network has already made a decision regarding another season of the show. Season 3 is a go for the network and viewers can’t wait to see what lies ahead. Deadline shared the news that ABC Family has picked up The Fosters for Season 3. The show has not only been a hit with viewers, it has earned quite a bit of critical acclaim and numerous awards. Fans will have to wait a while to learn more about the next season, but luckily new episodes from the second half of Season 2 are about to kick into gear again.

The Fosters spoilers from TVLine indicate that the winter premiere airing on Monday, January 19, will most definitely tackle Callie and Brandon’s relationship after it was thrown into flux again with their recent romantic reconnection. The last viewers saw of them, they were kissing, but it doesn’t look as if it will be all sunshine and roses as the show picks up again.

Will Brandon and Callie make a go of their relationship in a romantic way in this fresh round or are they better off leaving things simple and maintaining a sibling relationship? Photos from the new episode show that there is a tense conversation ahead between the two. Executive producer Peter Paige teases that the truth usually comes out, even when it’s hard, messy, and hurtful, and it seems likely that will apply to this duo as well.

As TV Guide notes, the Season 2, Episode 12 show is titled “Over/Under.” Fosters spoilers indicate that Stef and Lena will butt heads over a few different issues, including the idea of Lena quitting her job. In addition, Callie struggles with confusion over Robert’s change of heart about her adoption moving forward.

This episode also will bring an ambulance to the Quinns’ home, and Jesus is in for a shock when he sneaks into an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting where Ana is. Robert may be looking to regain custody of Callie, but she is making it clear to him that she has no plans to leave the Fosters’ home at any point.
