Apollo Nida’s Wife Phaedra Parks Sells Their Former Home In Atlanta

Apollo Nida’s former home in Atlanta was sold late last year. Just before The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Phaedra Parks announced she’d be divorcing her convict husband, the reality star and mother of two said goodbye to the home she and Nida once shared.

On January 15, TMZ reported on the news.

“Phaedra Parks is way better with money than convicted hubby Apollo Nida… she raked in major dough selling one of her Georgia homes.”

“Sources close to Phaedra tell TMZ she scored over $27K in profit when she sold her 9,148 sq-ft home last fall — a huge financial boost when you consider Apollo had just started his 8-year prison stretch for money laundering and check fraud.”

According to TMZ, Apollo Nida and his wife purchased the five bedroom/five bath home in 2001 for $322,000. Last October, the property sold for $349,000.

Last month, after Parks announced the divorce on Watch What Happens Live, Apollo Nida spoke to In Touch Weekly, revealing he would not go down without a fight.

“I will not walk away empty-handed, considering all I’ve put into the marriage over the five years. That is completely fair, I think. It wouldn’t be right for her to just take everything and leave me with nothing to come home to.”

As the Inquisitr reported in November, Apollo Nida’s main issue with Parks was that she was reportedly withholding him from his two sons, Ayden and Dylan.

“I can’t see why she would continue to hurt me by not allowing me to see my boys. This isn’t right. If I don’t see my children for eight years, that would be some bulls—, and I would fight for that right! Who in their right mind would allow children to be away from their father for eight years, regardless of where the father is at in the world?”

Parks, on the other hand, believes it could be traumatizing for her young sons to be taken into a prison, which she revealed to co-star Cynthia Bailey during an episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

“The boys are the victims of Apollo’s actions. If taking them to a prison is going to traumatize them, I’m not going to do it.”

Apollo Nida is currently behind bars, serving an 8-year sentence for fraud. For more of his wife, Phaedra Parks, tune into new episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta every Sunday night at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
