Jennifer Lawrence And Chris Martin Getting Back Together? Couple End Up Spending New Year’s Eve Together
After a photo surfaced of Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin spending time together on New Year’s Eve, the internet is abuzz with rumors of a “recoupling.”
Chris Martin juggled both his ex-wife Gwen Paltrow and his children throughout Thanksgiving and Christmas, but it looks like the Coldplay frontman went out of his way to make time for Jennifer Lawrence to round out 2014.
Lawrence and Martin reportedly split last October, after only four months of dating. The reason for the split? Reportedly, Jennifer couldn’t understand the nature of Chris’ relationship with his ex-wife. Additionally, Lawrence constantly felt like the third wheel when it came to Martin and Paltrow because of the former couples’ children, Apple (9) and Moses (7).
The above picture was posted to Tumblr and reported as being taken on New Year’s Eve. In the photograph, Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence appear to be enjoying a plate of sushi together. Although the Tumblr post says the picture was taken on December 31, the Mirror is reporting that the picture was actually taken on December 30. Either way, it’s undoubtedly a new picture of Chris and Jennifer enjoying some time alone.

The appearance of Martin and Lawrence together comes shortly after an interview given by Gwyneth Paltrow, in which she revealed that she wondered if maybe she should have stayed married to Chris.
“Of course, there are times when I think it would have been better if we had stayed married, which is always what your children want. But we have been able to solidify this friendship, so that we’re really close.”
Though Jennifer Lawrence’s private life might be a bit up and down at the moment, her professional life in 2014 was nothing short of meteoric. Starring in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I and X-Men: Days of Future Past, Jennifer Lawrence’s films made over $1.4 billion last year.
Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow split in March of last year when Paltrow gave the infamous “conscious uncoupling” quote about her and Martin’s 10-year marriage.
