San Jose Plain Clothes Police Officer Grapples With Two Women – Shocking Footage Goes Viral

An off-duty San Jose police officer was recently filmed grappling with not one, but two women in a parking lot. The video footage clearly shows the cop trying to forcibly subdue the women after one of them hit the officer’s car.

The video, showing a physical altercation between a man and two women in a San Jose parking lot, has sparked controversy and raised multiple glaring questions about civilian as well as police behavior. The video, undoubtedly recorded on a cell phone, shows an off-duty San Jose police officer in plain clothes struggling with two women. The struggle apparently began after one of the women, who could be sisters, hit the off-duty officer’s vehicle and drove off.

The police officer is clearly seen grappling with one of the women, but ensures he mentions on multiple occasions that he is a police officer. However, the woman appears to be asking the officer to stop fighting her at the beginning of the video. All while struggling with the woman, the police officer instructs the person filming the incident to call the police, “Call the police! I’m San Jose PD!” The man responds, “I’m calling right now.”

The website that first reported the incident mentioned the cop never showed his badge and that San Jose police are quite notorious for such type of behavior. However, Sergeant Heather Randol, the officer in the video, said when the woman in the video allegedly rear-ended the off-duty police officer, he followed her vehicle and tried to detain her until local, uniformed police arrived.

The video proves that the women did indeed grapple with the cop. The officer and the woman continue struggling and begin to move away from the car. However, shortly thereafter, the officer, while holding the woman, deftly twists and knocks her against the Honda. Off-camera, another woman is heard yelling, “Get the f*** off of her! Get off of her!”

The officer continues yelling “San Jose police! Stop!” Even the man recording the whole incident cautions the second woman, “San Jose police — he’s a cop. He’s a cop!” Regardless, the woman approaches the officer — who is still fighting with the first woman — and begins pulling on him. With brute strength the female holds on to the officer, while her supposed sister escapes and enters the vehicle. Subsequently, the other woman too enters the vehicle and they speed off. The officer appears to be holding out his badge, saying, “San Jose PD, I can show you my badge.”

While the case may appear quite bizarre with insufficient evidence to indict the women or the cop, Sgt. Heather Randol, a San Jose police spokeswoman, said an internal investigation showed no wrongdoing on the part of the officer. Meanwhile, warrants are currently out for the women.
