Missing Child Alert: Jassiah Clark Missing From Baton Rouge

Four-year-old Jassiah Clark was reported missing to Baton Rouge Police on Saturday, and searches for him thus far have turned out unsuccessful. The Advocate reports that this is not the only tragedy suffered by the boy’s family in recent weeks. Just about a month ago, two men who were reportedly closely related to the child killed one another in a fight. Now the child’s loved ones are mourning the loss of two of their loved ones while panicking to search for Jassiah.

Jassiah is an African-American child who stands at approximately three feet tall. He weighs 40 lbs., and has dark hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a pair of Levi’s denim shorts and a Hornets jacket. He was also wearing a pair of Adidas brand tennis shoes that were black, red and blue. His mother, Brittni Clark, has appealed to the media, and is distraught at the trouble that has befallen her family.

“I just want him to come home.”

Brittni is still mourning the loss of the two men who shot one another in an altercation last month (her boyfriend and brother), but now she has to put on a brave front to search for her four-year-old son. The Times-Picayune reports that the Baton Rouge Police are trying to put together the pieces of this case to find out what happened to little Jassiah. He was reported missing at around 10:50 p.m. Saturday night after he was last seen in the afternoon. He was reportedly last seen near his home around the 5600 block of Robertson Avenue.

If you know anything about the disappearance of this little boy, please do not hesitate to contact the Baton Rouge Police Department at (225) 389-3853, or call Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867. Police are asking for anybody with any possible information to come forward in hopes of locating the missing child.

As of now, it’s been longer than 24 hours since Jassiah Clark vanished from around his house, leaving numerous possibilities to be speculated about what happened to him. It should be noted that K9 units have been used around the area in the search for him and nothing has been found and no reports have been shared indicating that the K9 units had hit on his scent at all. This could be indicative of any number of scenarios. Did this missing child wander away from his home and get lost, or did he disappear under nefarious circumstances?
