Teresa Giudice’s Daughter Gia Will Live With 3KT As ‘RHONJ’ Star Serves Her Prison Term

Teresa Giudice’s daughter Gia will reportedly live with her girl group, 3KT, while The Real Housewives of New Jersey star serves a 15-month sentence.

Gia “wants to live with one of her friends from her girl group 3KT while her mom is away in prison,” a family insider told Radar Online on December 17. “She knows her family needs her, but she also realizes that she needs a mother figure while her mom is locked away. She’s at the age where she really needs a mother in her life to help her through the changes of going from a girl into a young woman, and it’s not like she’ll be able to pick up a phone and dial her mom at a moment’s notice.”

In addition, Teresa Giudice’s daughter Gia has “grown really close to” fellow bandmates Cristianna Cardinale, 14, and Alexa Maetta, 16, the source claimed. “She refers to them as her older sisters.”

However, that doesn’t mean Gia is ready to abandon her real sisters, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5.

“She’s not going to live with her friends full time, and nothing is going to be legally done,” the source insisted. “She isn’t going to abandon her sisters. She’ll be around to care for them and when she’s with the other family, she’ll only be a phone call away.”

Giudice, along with her husband, Joe, were sentenced to jail time during their October 2 sentencing. Giudice will begin her 15-month term on January 5 and Joe will begin a 41-month term when hers is complete.

“She knows her family needs her and she loves her dad Joe to pieces, but it would be uncomfortable to talk to him about woman things,” the source continued. “She realizes that she’ll need a mother figure while her mom is locked away.”

In other news regarding Teresa Giudice’s daughter Gia, the 3KT singer, along with her girl group, recently released a new single, “Season of Joy.” Ahead of the single’s release, the group pleaded with fans to fund a music video to go along with the song, as reported by the Inquisist. Although they didn’t raise the needed amount, the video was ultimately made.

“Teresa and the parents of the other two girls agreed to pay for the video to be made,” a source told Radar Online on December 10. “There was no way Teresa was going to have a disappointed Gia on her hands!”
