Lisa Vanderpump Talks Anti-Aging, Chocolate Diet, And Pooping: ‘I’m Like The Queen’ [Video]


One of the most well-known reality TV stars, Lisa Vanderpump has appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules. The slender 54-year-old also is a British restaurateur. But when it comes to maintaining her fabulous figure, Lisa is determined to do all that she can to look forever young and slender, she said during a visit to the Dr. Oz Show.

Vanderpump is cautious even about how much of her beloved red wine that she sips, she told Dr. Oz. Lisa believes in limiting herself to a glass a day for a youthful appearance and a memory boost.

And to pass away the time while she’s sipping that glass, Lisa makes a moisturizing mask and leaves it in place for half an hour. Her homemade facial consists only of oatmeal, honey, and yogurt.

When it comes to diet, Vanderpump advocates for chocolate on a daily basis. However, to stay slim, she mixes that chocolate with bran for her snacks.

Dr. Oz questioned her about whether the bran helps with regularity. Shocked to be asked that question, Lisa raised her head high, contending that the British way of life requires not discussing bathroom habits.

I’ve been married 32 years and my husband thinks I’ve been constipated for 32 years. I’m English, we don’t go to the bathroom. I’m like the queen. It’s a very private situation.

Vanderpump previously has admitted that she battles to maintain her weight loss success. She exercises regularly and is strict about cutting her carbohydrates, according to the Daily Mail.

“The hardest thing when you get older is keeping your weight down,” mourned the restaurant entrepreneur.

And she’s not the only celebrity to confess her weight loss battles as she gets older. Legendary singer Barbra Streisand also recently appeared on the Dr. Oz Show, as the Inquisitr reported. Streisand described herself as a food addict.

I am a food addict. Tell you the truth. I am literally a food addict. I cannot stay away from foods that I love, which are bad for me — you know, like carbs that are bad.

I have to force myself to exercise and force myself to diet, but I have limits to it.

However, Vanderpump puts exercise as a priority. If she indulges, Lisa rushes to the gym the following day, pushing herself through workouts on the treadmill to blast off those forbidden calories.

“I think the key over 40 is exercise regularly. You need to step it up with exercise at that age,” Lisa emphasized.

Vanderpump is equally candid about how much she weighs, reveals Bravo TV.

“We are all much smaller in person 5’5 120lbs…that’s all there is of me,” she said.

As for her famous little dog Giggy?

“I’m 6? 5.23 lbs.,” tweeted the dog from her own Twitter account.
