‘RHOC’ Star Vicki Gunvalson Was Threatened With Being Fired By Bravo

RHOC season 10 will include Vicki Gunvalson and her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brooks Ayers. Although Ayers was recently diagnosed with cancer, he and Gunvalson will both shoot scenes for the show. However, it isn’t exactly because that’s what they both wanted.

As the Inquisitr recently reported, Gunvalson revealed in a new interview that Bravo threatened to fire her if she didn’t agree to have Ayers appear alongside her on the upcoming 10th season. “[Bravo] basically put the gauntlet down and said, ‘If you don’t film with Brooks, then we are reducing your role,'” Gunvalson claimed. “And I was like, ‘Oh no! You did not just say that!'”

Following Gunvalson’s allegations, Andy Cohen explained why he gave her no choice when it came to RHOC season 10. “That’s true! We did!” Cohen admitted on an episode of Ask Andy. “You know why? She’s on a reality show about her life! And he was in her life! So we said, ‘You have to show what’s happening in your life! If you’re dating this guy, you can’t keep it hidden from everybody.'”

Throughout the last couple of seasons, Gunvalson has faced a lot of backlash because of her and Ayers’ relationship. On the show Ayers hasn’t been portrayed in the best light, and even Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana Culberson, isn’t a fan.

“She’s in a tough situation,” Cohen continued. “People didn’t like her relationship with him so she was like, ‘Look, I can’t take the criticism.’ I understand her reticence by the way. I understand why she wouldn’t want to share her relationship with Brooks with the world. I love her. I’m so glad that she did [film with Brooks] and that she’s back and that Brooks was on, because that was what was happening in her life.”

In other RHOC news, Alexis Bellino recently drummed up speculation that she could be re-joining the cast but according to an Inquisitr report, the former star won’t be returning.

“Alexis is desperate for attention and by posting it likely is trying to get people think she is returning to the show, but she is not,” a source confirmed to Radar Online. “Don’t believe what you see there.”

As for Gretchen Rossi, she won’t be returning either. “None of the old housewives will be coming back to the show for this season,” the source said. “Bravo has no interest in their storylines, which is why they were gone in the first place!”

RHOC season 10 is expected to premiere sometime next year on Bravo.
