Hulk Hogan Sues Linda Bollea For Claiming He’s Gay, Unfaithful, Abusive
Although Hulk Hogan’s wrestling career is mostly over, the WWE star is not opposed to laying a smackdown when the situation calls for it.
A legal smackdown, however. Hogan (real name Terry Bollea), 58, quietly and somewhat impressively refuted ex-wife Linda Bollea’s accusations of gay flings and physical abuse on the Howard Stern show not too long ago, not too long after she released her tell-all book making the claims. Hulk said that while he has many gay friends and has no problem with gay people, he himself has never engaged in any gayness. Hogan didn’t resort to name calling, and was very gentlemanly when denying the claims.
But he has hit back in court against his ex’s reputation damaging assertions that he was abusive and unfaithful, and Us Weekly carried a statement from Hogan’s lawyer on the legal drama:
Linda’s claims, Hulk’s lawsuit says, have “exposed him to distrust, hatred, contempt and ridicule.”
“He’s being accused of all sorts of vile conduct that he did not commit,” his attorney Will Florin said. “Miss Bollea’s made enough of these outrageous allegations that it’s time they stop … The only realistic way of making them stop is through the court system.”
Linda Bollea received 70% of the pair’s liquid assets in the divorce, the suit notes. Aside from claims Hulk Hogan cheated on her with wrestler Bruno Beefcake, Bollea also said in her memoir: Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes:
“[Hulk] tore my clothes, threw lamps, and held me down on the bed with his hands around my throat during arguments… I was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages.”

What gets me is how ugly she is being… she loved him at one point to marry him and have his children and I just don't get it. She is who she is because of him ( Her fame) just let it go and try to salvage some sort of relationship for their kids sake. That's who I really feel bad for!

I do not think it is true, she had no problem spending his money when they were married. She took 70% of their liquid assets when they divorced, I really don't think she is telling the truth but only her and Hulk know the truth.

Met them both around 17 years ago in Florida when Make A Wish sent my now deceased son, Jeffrey, to meet the Hulk. I found him to be a gentle and loving person. The children he consented to see were thrilled beyond words for all the time he took with them, I believe there were five children. He was amazing with us all. She sat to the side of the studio a little bored. Body language says a lot. Their two children were adorable. I really find it difficult to believe her story because some women today seem to take glory in what they can do to their exspouse if they are angry. I have seen it all too often. My advice to her is to move on. Sometimes all the dirt you spread comes back into your face.

the wife was a real bad apple. very very immature and I think she is lying about everything except the physical abuse. undoubtably hogan took steroids and the result is called "roid rage" which is more severe than anger management issues. she really screwed her kids up by teaching them illegal activities like street racing and then she cradle robs a boy her daughter's age and causes her daughter alarm. if the daughter, brooke, is concerned any guy she dates would not be off-limits for the mother, she is correct. the woman has no boundaries. I can say Hogan inspired a lot of kids as a good guy in the ring, and that is worth something…

Not saying its the truth or not, I have no idea, of course. Just trying to put myself in that situation and imagine myself being truly terrified of someone, I don't think I would be either telling secrets they didn't want anyone to know about or lie to slander their name for fear of retribution. Something seems odd about it to me.

Sally Pope It should've stayed "private". I certainly agree with that, but only until she wrote the book and is now on talk shows totally slamming him to the PUBLIC. THAT made it no longer private, through no fault of Terry's, (who has always stayed quiet about her and their life together the way it SHOULD be). He has every right to defend himself against this public attack, he took the high road, and I truly hope he wins his court case.
