Stephanie Moseley: Celebs React To Murder-Suicide Of VH1 Star And Rapper Husband Earl Hayes

The sudden death of Stephanie Moseley has shocked the celebrity world, and the apparent murder-suicide case along with husband Earl Hayes is confusing so many. The VH1 reality star was just 30-years-old, and Hayes was only 34 when they were found dead in their Los Angeles apartment, both with gunshot wounds.

Fox News has revealed that the case is under investigation, even though many public signs are pointing to Hayes, son of Isaac Hayes, being the primary suspect.

VH1 did release a statement regarding the death of the Hit the Floor reality series, and the network said they were “incredibly saddened.”

VH1 representative Chris Delhomme continued on to address the family.

“VH1 and the entire ‘Hit The Floor’ family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.”

As the news began spreading around of Moseley’s death, celebrities jumped on Twitter to express their condolences. Ashley Tisdale had worked with Moseley on the cheerleading show Hellcats, which aired on the CW.

Allison Holker was on Hit the Floor with Stephanie Moseley and had also appeared on Dancing With the Stars. She hopped on Instagram and posted some pics of her friend to mourn her loss, but also shared memories.

“Today we bow our heads and send prayers to our special Stephanie and her beautiful family,” she wrote alongside an ethereal photo of Moseley. “Stephanie was a bright, inspiring, talented woman and I am honored I could call her my friend. We shared cries, laughter and more importantly a friendship that I will never forgot. Moseley you taught me so much, and I will hold our memories close to my heart. Heaven is lucky to have you. I love you….RIP my dearest Stephanie.”

Moseley had danced with Rihanna, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez, and countless others. Brown posted a photo on Instagram and simply wrote a goodbye message to Moseley.

“RIP baby girl. Danced with me on tour and was always the coolest person. My prayers go out to you and the HAZE family.”

On the other hand, there were those that wanted to remember their friend Earl Hayes as well. Rapper 50 Cent had finally settled things with Floyd Mayweather, and he took to Instagram to mourn the loss of their friend.

“RIP Hayes @floydmayweather you are my little brother. All can think about is what you said to me up stairs. Don’t you ever do nothing to your self no matter what champ. We can fall out and fight or what ever, but I don’t want to see you go out like that. #SMSAUDIO #POWER #FRIGO.”

KTLA said that officers arrived at the scene of the couple’s apartment around 7:30 a.m., after reports by residents of the Palazzo East that a woman was heard screaming. Residents then said they had heard up to 10 gunshots.

Once inside the apartment, officers saw a back bedroom door was closed and were about to enter the room when two more shots were heard. SWAT team members later entered the room and found the bodies of Stephanie Moseley and Earl Hayes.
