‘RHOA’ Star Kenya Moore: Hate From Co-Stars Helped Her Career

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore may have joined the cast to have a good time and film a reality show, but she quickly became the villain of this show. After she openly flirted with Apollo Nida a few times, the women lost respect for her. So when Apollo decided to lie about Kenya, the ladies were more inclined to believe him over her. But as it turns out, he lied about them almost hooking up in Los Angeles.

Kenya Moore had a breakdown on last week’s episode of the show, and she was so disappointed that the other ladies would continue to question her story. But at the end of the day, Moore reveals that being labeled the villain has actually helped her in her career. Even though she endured a lot of hate on the show, Kenya can only be thankful for the exposure.

According to a new My Fox LA report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore told the morning show that she has endured quite a bit of hate on the show, but that only gave her a platform to propel her to do bigger things. For example, in January, Kenya will compete on Celebrity Apprentice, alongside Brandi Glanville.

In addition, Kenya Moore has dedicated her time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta this season to find her roots once again. Prior to coming on the show, Kenya was a film producer. She has started her own production company called Moore Vision Media. The company has produced a suspense thriller called The Confidant, which stars Boris Kodjoe, David Banner and Richard Roundtree.

And with this well-known platform, Kenya Moore is all about giving back to her fans. Earlier this year, Moore donated $20,000 to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation. This is the same foundation she plays for on Celebrity Apprentice. At the time she donated her money, NeNe Leakes questioned that she had the money; and claimed she would donate the same amount of money herself, should Kenya come through.

To this date, NeNe has yet to deliver on that promise. This weekend, Leakes sat down with Andy Cohen and Kim Zolciak on Watch What Happens Live, and Moore really wanted to know if Cohen was going to ask Leakes about the money.

It doesn’t sound like Kenya is getting any compassion from anyone, including NeNe. According to the Inquisitr, Moore won’t be getting an apology from the other ladies, because they don’t want to admit that they were wrong and chose to believe a liar.

What do you think of Kenya Moore using the hate from the show to propel her into bigger and better things?
