Jeff Probst, Host of CBS’ ‘Survivor,’ Marries Lisa Ann Russell

Hardcore Survivor fans have reason to rejoice – Jeff Probst, the longtime host of America’s No. 1 reality show, has officially snuffed the torch on his single life.

According to People magazine, Probst, 49, married his girlfriend Lisa Ann Russell at a private residence in Los Angeles on Monday.

It is the second marriage for both bride and groom who are rumored to have started dating in 2010.

Russell, 40, was previously married to Mark-Paul Gosselaar of Franklin Bash and Saved By the Bell fame. The former couple has two children together, and they share custody.

Prior to Lisa Ann, Probst was married to Shelley Wright from 1996-2001 and dated “Survivor: Vanuatu” fifth-place finisher Julie Berry from 2004-08.

Besides Survivor, which is in its 23rd season and is approaching its final episode of the year(Dec. 18), Probst will host a daytime talk show (appropriately titled Jeff Probst) on CBS, beginning in fall 2012.

As the Celebrity Cafe points out, the news of Probst’s marriage helps give some sort of context as to why why Probst was not doing his typical tweeting during “Survivor: South Pacific” Wednesday night (Dec. 7) — though at the time, he just said that he had a “personal commitment.”

Now we know – he was getting hitched!

Congrats Jeff and Lisa from the folks over here at INQ.
